For more than 30 years, Bart has been helping Ventura County families not only meet their financial goals, but harmonize the relationship between their finances and their lives.

Beginning in the field of taxation in the late 1980s and transitioning into the financial services industry in 1998, Bart had a vision early on to provide high-quality, unmatched service to every client. This vision has been realized, as Bart provides industry-leading tax and retirement planning guidance. His extensive knowledge of tax issues has given him a distinct advantage in crafting personalized financial plans.

After graduating from Azusa Pacific University with a bachelor's degree, Bart earned his MA in sociology with an emphasis in marriage and family counseling. Bart holds the FINRA Series 7, 63, and 66 securities registrations and is a licensed life and disability insurance agent. He is an Investment Adviser Representative and enrolled agent.

Bart and his wife, Judy, have lived in Ventura for more than 40 years. They have three children and five grandkids. An avid bicyclist and dirt biker, Bart enjoys being out in nature. He is also very active in his church with volunteering and leadership roles, including teaching financial classes. He is an active member of the Channel Island's Society of Enrolled Agents. Bart's commitment to integrity can be seen through his tireless work ethic and strong family values.

Josh Ketterling, Bart's son, is a client services associate with Commonwealth Financial Network^® and our lead customer service point of contact. Josh assists Bart with maintaining customer accounts, analyzing investment options, and monitoring asset allocation models for client portfolios. A graduate of Azusa Pacific University with a BS in physics, Josh is an enrolled agent with extensive tax expertise and holds the FINRA Series 7 securities registration. Josh and his wife are the proud parents of a little boy. In his spare time, Josh likes to spend time outdoors. and now he enjoys it even more sharing that with his son.

Holly Swanson, Bart's daughter, has been working in the tax office since she was a teenager. She graduated from Azusa Pacific University with a degree in business administration and is now a CTEC-registered tax preparer. Holly assists Bart and Josh with setting up investment accounts. She enjoys working with clients to ensure all paperwork is in order for a successful investment portfolio all while making the process as easy as possible for the clients. Holly and her husband live in Ventura with their house rabbit and are very involved volunteering at the local animal shelter.

Dana Potts has more than 40 years of administrative experience and is an integral part of the team. As the office manager, she keeps everyone organized and on track. She has been working in the tax and financial planning office for 22 years. Dana and her husband, Jeff, have four children and two grandsons. She enjoys reading, watching good movies, and singing together with her family.
